Manhattan Research, Inc. is the name of the company founded by Raymond Scott in 1946 (!) to design and manufacture electronic music systems.
This 2-CD compilation of Scott’s work contains more than 2 hours of music including a couple of soundtracks that Scott created for commercials. The album also comes with a very informative 140 page booklet.
You have probably heard his composition ‘Powerhouse’.
